DAWGS SEEKING HOST FAMILIES

The Dirt Dawgs are seeking host families for the 2013 summer season to host a player. Volunteer hosts are sought for either the full season, or for half a season. We will work with families if there is a specific player request.  (Maybe your alma mater is represented!)

We cannot stress how important this role is to our summer operations.  The generosity of host families highlights the unique relationship between amateur college baseball and the communities that summer teams call home. 

Benefits: 
The experience of hosting a college player is one that your family will surely find rewarding; especially if there is a young ballplayer in the family. You might one day see your player in the Major Leagues!   In appreciation the Dirt Dawgs will provide you:

• A stipend of $150 per player for each of two 5-week stints;
• A season family pass for our 28 home games;
• Host family luncheon. 

Host Familes provide:

• A separate bedroom with linens and towels
• Access to shower and laundry
• Meals other than after game meals and access to the the Internet are not required, but will be appreciated by your player.

Players will be required to provide their own transportation.
